This market resolves based on whether at least one penalty kick is awarded by the referee during the CECAFA match between Gor Mahia FC and Al Hilal SC. A penalty kick is awarded when a foul is committed by a defending player inside their own penalty area. This includes penalties awarded during regular time, extra time if played, and does not include penalty shootouts that may occur after the match to determine a winner.
This market resolves to 'Yes' if the match referee awards at least one penalty kick to either team during the official match time (including any extra time periods). It resolves to 'No' if no penalty kicks are awarded during the match. Penalty kicks taken as part of a penalty shootout after the conclusion of the match do not count toward resolution. Resolution will be determined based on the official match report and verified statistics from the CECAFA tournament.
